Welcome, Falcon families and all student supporters!Residential students are required to attend in person. Commuters who are unable to attend tonight due to the weather can still participate by tuning in to the livestream.___________________________________Undeniably, THE featured event to hit you in the *feels*.Convocation is the official new student academic welcome to the University and celebrates the importance of academic excellence, innovation, integrity and discovery – all of the things that make up the ULTIMATE University experience.Featured presenters like BGSU President Dr. Rodney Rogers, Provost Dr. Joe Whitehead and other academic and student leaders will share their insights to empower you to explore and appreciate the values of belonging at BGSU.At BGSU, our main character is Falcon Pride. You'll be initiated into the University's special traditions and history. Ay Ziggy!Convocation is part of the required program series for first-year students*. After Convocation, head over to Parking Lot 7 (Next to Bowen-Thompson Student Union) to experience Flock the Block!* Attendance is required if this is the first year you are attending BGSU full-time. This includes transfer, commuting and international students. However, your attendance is excused if you have an approved absence.⛈️ Please note: Activities, dates and times are subject to change.
