Second Half Surge Sends Falcons Soaring Over Eagles In Regular Season Finale
YPSILANTI, Mich. - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team closed out the regular season with a 77-69 victory over Eastern Michigan Friday night (March 6). The Falcons jumped out to an early 19-9 lead, but the Eagles fought back to take the advantage into the halftime locker room. In the second half, the Falcons erupted offensively, more than doubling their field goal percentage, to capture the win. Javontae Campbell led the way in scoring and assists with 22 and seven, respectively, while Sam Towns added his fourth double-double of the season with 15 points and a team-high 18 rebounds. BGSU will now transition to the MAC Tournament, beginning on Thursday (March 12).
Falcons To Close Regular Season Friday In Ypsilanti With MAC Tournament Seeding To Be Determined
YPSILANTI, Mich. - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team will wrap up the regular season on Friday (March 6) with a 6:30 p.m. tip against the Eastern Michigan Eagles in Ypsilanti. The Falcons enter with their spot in the MAC Tournament already clinched, but their seed undecided. Bowling Green could be as high as the fifth seed, but can't drop lower than the sixth seed. The game is set to be streamed on ESPN+ while a radio feed will be available on WFRO Eagle 99 from Todd Walker for the game between the Falcons and Eagles.

The Falcons Nest Coaches Show Set For Final Show Of 2025-26 With Williams, Simon, Nicolais Monday Night
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The weekly Falcons Nest Coaches Show presented by Fricker's, returns Monday night (March 2) on Falcon Sports Radio Network stations with a trio of guests and the final show of the 2025-26 season. The show will begin at 6 p.m. with head hockey coach Dennis Williams joining the Voice of the Falcons, Todd Walker. Walker will then be joined by head men's basketball coach Todd Simon around 6:20 p.m. followed by assistant women's basketball coach John Nicolais around 6:40 p.m. All three interviews will be in-person at the Bowling Green Fricker's.
Falcons Fight Back From 14-Point Deficit To Secure Win, Spot In MAC Tournament
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team clinched their spot in the MAC Tournament with an 81-62 victory over the UMass Minutemen on Saturday (Feb. 28) at the Stroh Center. The Falcons fell behind in the first half by as many as 14, but battled back, including an 18-point swing in the second half. During the second half, BGSU registered a 20-2 run that spanned nearly five minutes of action to reach the final tally. With the win, Bowling Green secured their spot in Cleveland for the conference tournament while advancing to 17-13 on the year and 8-9 within the MAC. BGSU will wrap up the regular season at Eastern Michigan on March 6 with the MAC Tournament beginning on March 12.
