AMHERST, Mass. - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team took the UMass Minutemen to overtime behind a spectacular game from Javontae Campbell Saturday (Jan. 3). Trailing by three with 10 seconds left in regulation, Campbell drew a three-point foul, making all three attempts at the line despite UMass' efforts to ice him with a timeout. After forcing overtime, Campbell and the Falcons rallied to a thrilling 101-100 overtime win over UMass behind Campbell's 47 points, tied for the fifth-most in program history, the most since 1964 and the most ever by a Falcon in a road game. The win moves Bowling Green to 11-4 on the season while being 2-1 to begin MAC play.

AMHERST, Mass. - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team will be back on the road for their next two games, first facing the UMass Minutemen on Saturday (Jan. 3). The first game on the 2026 calendar for the Falcons, Bowling Green and UMass are set for a 2 p.m. tip and will mark the first meeting all-time between the programs. The game between the Falcons and Minutemen will be available to stream on ESPN+ with a radio feed from Todd Walker available on WFRO Eagle 99.

Miami jumped out to a strong first half, but the Falcons fought back, outscoring the RedHawks 55-39 in the second half. The comeback effort, however, fell short with Miami claiming a 93-83 final to remain undefeated on the season. For the Falcons, Bowling Green moves to 10-4 on the year while being 1-1 in the early stages of conference play.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team will host the undefeated Miami (OH) RedHawks Tuesday night (Dec. 30) for a 7 p.m. tip inside the Stroh Center. Bowling Green and Miami both enter the matchup with 1-0 MAC records while being among the top 50 in the nation for winning percentage. The RedHawks are currently 13-0, receiving votes in the AP's Top 25 poll, while the Falcons are 10-3. The game will be available to stream on ESPN+ with a radio feed from Todd Walker on WFRO Eagle 99.
