BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green running back/kick returner Cameron Pettaway was named the MAC Freshman of the Year and earned first-team All-MAC honors, joining tight end Jyrin Johnson and linebacker Gideon Lampron on the league's top squad. The three first-team selections headline seven total Falcons recognized with postseason MAC accolades, as announced by Mid-American Conference Commissioner Dr. Jon Steinbrecher.

Falcons Wrap Up 2025 Season With 45-14 Victory Over UMass
AMHERST, Mass. - The Bowling Green State University football team closed out the 2025 season with victory over UMass, topping the Minutemen in a 45-14 score Tuesday night (Nov. 25). The Falcons jumped out to a 28-0 lead in the first half, going on to score at least one touchdown in each quarter of the game. Austyn Dendy led the way with 115 rushing yards and two scores, one of four different Falcons to cross the goal line in the game. For BGSU, they close out the season with a win for the first time since 2021.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - This morning (Nov. 20), the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum revealed the first-ever bobblehead of Pudge the Cat, the beloved unofficial mascot of the Bowling Green Falcons football team. The officially licensed, limited-edition collectible is being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum—an official licensee of Bowling Green State University—in partnership with Pudge's owner, Falcons long snapper George Carlson.
