21 Falcons Named to CCHA All-Academic Team
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Central Collegiate Hockey Associate (CCHA) announced Wednesday (February 12) the announced the 2024-25 All-Academic Team and 160 student-athletes have been recognized for maintaining a grade point average of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.00 scale). In addition, 102 student-athletes have earned CCHA Scholar-Athlete Team honors for achieving a grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
Four Falcons: Pete Eigner, Seth Fyten, Ryan O'Hara and Ben Wozney all have been named to the CCHA All-Academic Team for the fourth time in their career, while for Jack Blake, Quinn Emerson, Jaden Grant , Dalton Norris and Tommy Pasanen all are being recognized for the second time in their careers.

- Falcons Fall to Tommies in CCHA Mason Cup SemifinalsMENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn. – The Bowling Green Falcons (18-14-4) fell in the CCHA Mason Cup Semifinals to the St. Thomas Tommies (19-13-5) by a score of 3-1. The Falcons finish in Head Coach Dennis Williams first season at helm with a record of 18-14-4. In the loss, graduate Ethan Scardina scored in what would be his final collegiate game.

- O’Hara and Waters Named to Second Team All-CCHA TeamBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Central Collegiate Hockey Association has announced its 2024-25 selections for All-CCHA second team, with Bowling Green senior Ryan O'Hara and sophomore Brody Waters earning recognition. O'Hara is making his first appearance on an All-CCHA Team after being a four-time CCHA All-Academic Selection. Waters is being awarded his first All-CCHA team after being named as the CCHA Rookie of the Week on Nov. 27, 2023.
- Christian Stoever Earns Second CCHA Weekly Award of the SeasonBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Central Collegiate Hockey Association has recognized four student-athletes as its Players of the Week for the previous week of competition. Bowling Green's Christian Stoever was named CCHA Goaltender of the Week, his third CCHA honor of the season and sixth weekly award of his career. The senior recorded his third shutout of the season and seventh of his career.
- Falcons Advance to CCHA Mason Cup Semifinals for the First Time Since 2011-2012 SeasonBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons (18-13-4, CCHA 12-10-4) defeated the Michigan Tech Huskies (16-17-3, CCHA 12-11-3) by a score of 4-0 to advance to the CCHA Mason Cup Semifinals for the first time since the 2011-12 season. BGSU wins their first post season series since the 2019-2020 season and the first at home since 2018-19.
- BGSU Athletics Announces CCHA Playoff-Themed Auction with LiveSource LLCBOWLING GREEN, Ohio - BGSU Athletics is announcing a CCHA Playoff-themed auction in partnership with the newLiveSource LLC platform recently brought on board for online auctions and other Falcon fundraising efforts. The auction is currently open HERE, and will close on March 22nd at 9 pm, the day after the CCHA Mason Cup Championship.
