BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green women's cross country team will head to Buffalo, N.Y., for the MAC Championships on Saturday, Nov. 1, at the Audubon Golf Course. The race will begin at 12 p.m. ET, following the men's race.

The Falcons enter the postseason on a strong note after an impressive October. Led by senior Kylee Cubbison, Bowling Green finished seventh at the Paul Short Run, beating out several regional opponents in a 40-team field, and followed that performance with a team victory at the Falcon Invitational. After winning their final home meet, BGSU will look to carry that momentum as the program seeks their first MAC title since 1998.

The Falcons' success has been reflected in the rankings too. In the midst of a successful fall season, the Falcons hold the No. 7 spot in the Great Lakes Region, one of five MAC programs in the top 15. The conference features a deep and competitive field, including No. 4 Ohio, No. 5 Toledo, No. 10 Miami (Ohio) and No. 13 Western Michigan. Considering the regional talent featured, the MAC Championship will be one of the more strongest women's races in the country.

This meet also presents a new chapter in the Battle of I-75. This rivalry between Bowling Green and Toledo is a points-based competition spanning all sports at each institution. Ten points will be on the line in the women's race, with the Falcons currently leading 26-5.
