Astronomy today is a diverse global effort to understand the Universe. Several of the world’s most important ground-based observatories are located in the high Atacama Desert of Chile. In Big Astronomy, you’ll meet several of the astronomers, engineers, technicians and support staff who use and operate these impressive observatories.

Sign Up for a Spring Move-In TimeIf you are going to be moving to BGSU for the first time in January, WELCOME! And if you are a returning student to campus, we hope you enjoyed your winter break!Sign-up for Spring Move-In times opens Tuesday, Nov. 12 and closes Friday, Dec. 13.Just like Fall Move-In students are required to sign up for a move-in appointment, even if you already moved into your room in the fall semester. Spring Move-In will occur Friday, Jan. 10 through Sunday, Jan. 12.
