GrantForward: How to Find Funding and Advance Your ResearchWith over 21,000 sponsors, GrantForward is a dynamic database that simplifies the grant search process and helps scholars find funding opportunities, set grant alerts, and receive personalized grant recommendations.In this interactive session, you will learn how to use GrantForward to identify relevant funding opportunities to support your research, scholarship, and creative work. By completing this workshop, you should be able to:1. Create your GrantForward account.2. Establish your GrantForward research profile to showcase your work and receive personalized grant recommendations.3. Strategically identify funding opportunities and sponsors.After providing a brief overview and introduction to GrantForward, we will provide a practical tutorial on how to find, save, and set alerts for funding opportunities. Families, do you want to learn about the science behind the upcoming lunar eclipse? Join WBGU-PBS for an engaging program to explore the wonders of the moon! Discover how the phases of the moon work and why it appears to change shape in the sky. Learn what causes a lunar eclipse and why the moon turns red during a total eclipse. Each family will receive a free STEM kit and a book to continue the learning at home (while supplies last). Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to uncover the mysteries of our closest celestial neighbor!This program is the first in a series of six sessions hosted by the BGSU Planetarium on a wide range of interdisciplinary topics, each with a connection to astronomy.
