Donated items will benefit the Wood County Hospital SANE Department and Community Outreach programs. We are seeking new hygiene products, clothing, and other items, including but not limited to:TissuesShampoo/conditionerSoapDeodorantWashclothsTowelsLotionToothbrushes/toothpasteHair brushes/combsMouthwashToilet paperMenstrual productsLaundry soap/pods and dryer sheetsHatsGlovesFootwear (shoes and socks)Pregnancy clothingWinter clothingSweats/sweatshirtsBlanketsSleeping bags (for 0-10 degree cool weather)Water resistance coats/clothingCoats/jackets (adults)BootsIf you wish to donate, you can buy items from the Donation Drive Wishlist and have them delivered to the CWGE or drop off donations in 280 Hayes Hall. The donation drive runs for the whole month of February.

The project aims to improve the climate for LGBTQ+ individuals at BGSU and make allies visible and involved with LGBTQ+ students, faculty, and staff.In this session, you will:Clarify your understanding of basic/intermediate LGBTQ+-related definitions. Develop and/or advance your understanding of socialization. Clarify your understanding of gender identity, gender expression, sex assigned at birth, and various orientations. Learn about US LGBTQ+ policies/law, specifically in the state of Ohio. Identify job-relevant behaviors and techniques rooted in allyship. Develop an action plan. - Feb 512:00 PMCrocheting for a Cause LaunchGender Violence Prevention and Education Services presents the 2025 Crocheting for a Cause Launch! Join us on Wednesday, Feb. 5 from 12-3p in 203 Hayes Hall (CWGE Conference Room).Crocheting for a Cause is a yearly campaign to bring awareness to sexual violence and show support of survivors. GVPES supplies crocheting/knitting supplies and encourages participants to work at their leisure throughout February and March. All completed pieces are gathered in early April and added to the existing collection to form our Sexual Assault Awareness Month Yarn Storm.The Launch is a great time to pick up your supplies, meet other crafters, and learn more about our SAAM Yarn Storm. Don’t know how to crochet/knit but still want to participate? No problem! Staff will be on hand to teach the basics.If you are unable to attend, stop by 278 Hayes Hall Monday-Friday, 9a-5p to pick up supplies. Can’t make it over to Hayes?
