BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The weekly Falcons Nest Coaches Show presented by Fricker's, returns Monday night (Feb. 2) on Falcon Sports Radio Network stations. The show will begin at 6 p.m. with head men's basketball coach Todd Simon joining the Voice of the Falcons, Todd Walker. The program will transition at 6:30 p.m. to head women's basketball coach Fred Chmiel joining Walker. Both interviews will be in-person at the Bowling Green Fricker's.

The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team battled back from an 18-point first-quarter deficit to take the lead, but the host University of Toledo pulled away late for a 59-49 victory on Saturday afternoon (Jan. 31), in Mid-American Conference action at John F. Savage Arena

• The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team renews the "Battle of I-75" as the January portion of the schedule comes to a close. Head coach Fred Chmiel and the Falcons make a short trek north for a Saturday (Jan. 31) meeting with the University of Toledo. Tipoff is set for 5:00 p.m. at Savage Arena.

The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team withstood a cold shooting start, heating up in the middle two quarters to run away from the University of Akron on Wednesday night (Jan. 28). The Falcons picked up an 80-62 victory over the Zips in Mid-American Conference action at the Stroh Center.
