Once course materials are registered in Verba, students are able to access their booklist and compare prices from major online retailers, ensuring they have access to the correct course materials at the most affordable price. This demonstration will show you how to register your required course items in Verba. Time will be provided during the training to register your own requirements and start planning for next semester. All BGSU faculty and instructors are welcome to attend this session. This training is not recommended for Verba department reviewers, as the workshop will cover a different Verba view and functions.In this session, you will learn how to:Register textbooks, open educational resources (OER) and other course materials using Verba.Utilize Verba in an efficient and accurate manner.To register for this event, use the Spring 2025 University Libraries CFE Session Registration Form.Advance registration is required. SciENcv: How to Create Your Biosketches and Communicate Your Scholarly ContributionsScience Experts Network Curriculum Vitae (SciENcv) is a centralized system that allows researchers to develop and maintain biosketches for their grant proposals and annual reports.In this interactive session, you will learn how to use SciENcv to document and communicate your scholarly contributions. Specifically, by completing this workshop, you should be able to:1. Create and access your SciENcv account.2. Use SciENcv to prepare a biosketch.3. Export your biosketch.After providing a brief overview and introduction to SciENcv, we will provide a guided tutorial on how to create and access one’s SciENcv account. Next, workshop participants will receive guided assistance on how to use SciENcv to develop and export their biosketches.

Need a location to study with your friends? Want to work on a group project? Or just want to be around other students to hold yourself accountable? Take action by coming to study in the Radbill Center on Wednesday nights from 6-8pm. These study sessions will be hosted by Life Design Student Ambassadors who bring fun energy to long study nights! Study Nights in the Rad begin January 29th and continue until April 23rd. Snacks will be provided!The Radbill Center, known as the RAD, is a space for all students to find their place on campus. With a coffee (and tea and hot chocolate) station, along with tables and comfortable seating, the RAD is a great place to hang out, study, work on group projects or relax!
