BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green gymnastics head coach Brittney Emmons has announced the addition of Landyn Williams to the Falcons' 2025 roster. Williams, a transfer from Talladega College in Talladega, Ala., will have three years of eligibility remaining.
Williams, a native of Buford, Ga., spent one season at Talladega College, competing primarily on vault and floor while also performing on beam. Her career bests include a 9.750 on vault, achieved during the regular season, and a 9.800 on floor at the USAG Championships, where she qualified for the USAG Collegiate National Championship as an individual in both events. Williams was part of Talladega's inaugural gymnastics team, which was discontinued after one season.
"I am thrilled to add Landyn to the BG Gymnastics family," said Emmons. "As someone who qualified for the USAG Collegiate Nationals on both vault and floor, she brings valuable experience and a strong foundation from her freshman year. We are excited for her journey to continue at BGSU and look forward to her contributing to our program's depth and talent."
Before college, Williams trained under coaches Kim and Pete Arenas at Georgia Elite Gymnastics. Originally from Montgomery, Ala., she attended Booker T. Washington High School and Prattville High School before completing her education at Mill Creek High School in Georgia.
Williams is a member of the National Honor Society and graduated as an honor student.
She is the daughter of Stephanie and Napoleon Williams and has one sister, Logan. Her father, Napoleon, played football at Alcorn State. Williams aspires to become a pediatric nurse practitioner.
