Javontae Campbell Named To Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Late-Season Team
ROSWELL, Ga. – The Atlanta Tipoff Club announced the 2026 Naismith Men's College Defensive Player of the Year Presented by MOLECULE Late-Season Team Friday (Feb. 27) afternoon. Of the 15 players named across the nation, Bowling Green senior guard Javontae Campbell was a recipient. Not only is Campbell one of 15 players nationally named, he is the only of the 15 honorees to be from a Mid-Major conference with the rest of the list consisting of players from the ACC, Big East, Big Ten, Big 12 and SEC.
Men’s Hoops Set For Saturday Senior Day With MAC Tournament Berth Within Reach
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team will conclude the home portion of the 2025-26 regular season schedule on Saturday (Feb. 28), hosting the UMass Minutemen. The game is set for a 2 p.m. tip inside the Stroh Center with Senior Day preceding the game. The Falcons and Minutemen will be meeting for the second time this season with this marking the first trip to BGSU for UMass all-time. With a win, the Falcons would clinch a spot in the MAC Tournament. The game will be available to stream on ESPN+ while Todd Walker will have the radio call on WFRO Eagle 99.

Falcons Begin Key Week At Home With Western Michigan Tuesday Night
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team will play their final two home regular season games this week, beginning with Western Michigan on Tuesday (Feb. 23) for a 7 p.m. The Falcons and Broncos will be meeting for the second time this season with BGSU claiming the first matchup. With three games left in the regular season, the Falcons are in the thick of the MAC standings race, entering sixth in the conference. The game will be available to stream on ESPN+ while Todd Walker will have the radio call on WFRO Eagle 99.
