- Falcons Add Transfer Infielder Anthony Mitta To 2026 RosterBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University baseball program will add senior infielder Anthony Mitta to the 2026 roster. Mitta comes to the Falcons after spending the last two seasons at the University of Mount Olive. A native of Raleigh, N.C., Mitta joins a list of seven other transfers to join the Falcons for the upcoming season.

- BGSU Legend Anthony Stacey Returns To Falcons As Assistant CoachBOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green State University head men's basketball coach Todd Simon announced the addition of Anthony Stacey to the Falcons' coaching staff. Stacey will return to the Falcons for his second stint as an assistant coach following five years as the head coach at Whitmer High School. He previously served as an assistant with Bowling Green for five seasons under Michael Huger from 2015-2020. Stacey, a 2011 BGSU Hall of Fame inductee, still ranks second all-time for career points in the Orange and Brown with 1,938.
- BGSU Men’s Basketball Releases Non-Conference Slate To Complete 2025-26 ScheduleBOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball program has announced the non-conference portion of the 2025-26 schedule. With the additions, the schedule currently contains 31 games for the Falcons. In total, BGSU will host 17 contests while going on the road for 14 games. As for conference play, BGSU will host nine and travel for nine. The conference schedule was previously released on Aug. 21.

Coach George will kick off the show at 6 p.m.

The tournament was hosted by BGSU and was played at the Virtues Golf Club, a par 72 course with a total yardage of 7,243. BGSU finished 10th overall out of the 14-team field, firing a 904 across three rounds of play.

Six Falcons competed over the weekend, including two sets of doubles players and two singles competitors. The event featured both a singles tournament and a doubles tournament, which was single elimination and offered consolation matches.
- Women's Tennis Heads to Kalamazoo for MAC Individual TournamentKALAMAZOO, Mich. – Six members of the BGSU tennis team will compete again this weekend, this time in the MAC Individuals tournament in Kalamazoo, Mich. held at the West Hills Athletic Club. With the event being an individuals tournament, competitors from each team in the MAC will play in both a singles tournament and a doubles tournament, without contributing towards a team score.

- Jessica Andrews Named MAC Offensive Player Of The WeekCLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced the MAC Players of the Week Monday afternoon (Oct. 6). Of those named, Bowling Green's Jessica Andrews was named the Offensive Player of the Week. For Andrews, this is her seventh MAC weekly award of her career, but the first offensive with the previous six being defensive honors. It also marks the first for Andrews this season. As for the team, Andrews is the fifth different Falcon this season to be named a MAC Player of the Week and the third different to earn an Offensive Player of the Week honor, joining Lauryn Hovey (Sept. 8) and Avery Hobson (Sept. 15).
- Undefeated MAC Matchup In Battle Of I-75 Headlines Three-Match Week For BGVBBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University volleyball team will put their 4-0 MAC record to the test this week with three conference contests on deck. The Falcons will begin against the rival Toledo Rockets on Tuesday (Oct. 7) at Savage Arena with a 6 p.m. start. Both Bowling Green and Toledo will head into the match with undefeated 4-0 records in MAC play. From there, the Orange and Brown will transition back home to the Stroh Center to host Northern Illinois for two matches on Oct. 9 and 10, both 6 p.m. first serves. Thursday night will be a White Out at the Stroh Center while Friday will be Alumni Night for the program.
