- Oct 177:00 PMFamily Weekend Planetarium ShowThe Bowling Green State University planetarium is a 114-seat public science theater serving BGSU students, area schools, and the public of northwest Ohio. The full video planetarium SciDome system projects and fills our 40-foot dome with video that immerses visitors in the cosmos and shows the sky from any place on Earth at any time.During Family Weekend the Planetarium will be showing "The Edge of Darkness"Come explore the Universe at the BGSU Planetarium with the show EDGE OF DARKNESS. The New Horizons mission returned spectacular pictures of faraway Pluto in 2015 and at the same time the Dawn mission sent home spectacular images of the asteroid Vesta and dwarf planet Ceres. See the interesting landscapes of these dark and distant worlds.If you’re interested in attending a planetarium showing, be sure to come to check in on Friday or Saturday to claim your free ticket.
