- DescriptionAll are welcome to join us for the "In The Round" community reads gatherings led by BGSU faculty featuring essays from Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer’s best-selling book, Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants.In The Round: a speaker series featuring Native American Creatives seeks to render visible—to the BGSU and local communities—the artistry, activism, and presence of contemporary Native American artists. This series is an extension of the BGSU Land Acknowledgment, which provides a foundation upon which the university can build purposeful and sustained opportunities to learn about tribal nations and cultures.This reading will be introduced by Chad Van Buskirk, Associate Teaching Professor, Department of English Wood County Committee on Aging (Senior Center), Bowling Green.
