The full video planetarium SciDome system projects and fills our 40-foot dome with video that immerses visitors in the cosmos and shows the sky from any place on Earth at any time.During Family Weekend the Planetarium will be showing "The Edge of Darkness"Come explore the Universe at the BGSU Planetarium with the show EDGE OF DARKNESS. The New Horizons mission returned spectacular pictures of faraway Pluto in 2015 and at the same time the Dawn mission sent home spectacular images of the asteroid Vesta and dwarf planet Ceres. See the interesting landscapes of these dark and distant worlds.If you’re interested in attending a planetarium showing, be sure to come to check in on Friday or Saturday to claim your free ticket. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis for all four showings.---------------------------------------- Falcon Family Weekend Oct. 17-19 | This event is part of Falcon Family Weekend, an annual tradition for parents, family members, and supporters to visit, create memories, participate in events, and explore campus and the local community.
