Stansbery Gift Brings New State-of-the-Art Taraflex Floor To BGSU
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – For Mo and Jon Stansbery, BGSU volleyball is the epitome of excellence. That is why, when presented with the opportunity to ensure the Falcons are amongst the top programs in the country, they jumped at the chance. Because of their devotion to BGSU Athletics and financial support, the volleyball program will be among the first in the MAC to install a state-of-the-art Taraflex floor for the 2024 season. The new Taraflex floor will be named the "Mo and Jon Stansbery Court" and will be officially unveiled on Aug. 30 prior to BGSU's first match in the Hampton Inn Invitational, set for 6 p.m. against Chicago State.
Through their philanthropic giving, Jon and Mo have impacted the experience of Falcon student-athletes across many sports. They are widely known for recruiting fans. Their ever-expanding volleyball fan club has enhanced the experience for the student-athletes and their families. In 2017, they were presented with the Volleyball Supporters of the Year Award.
