Journalist and author Vince Guerrieri will honor the work of the late Joseph P. Boyle, Jr., a beloved Waite High School history teacher and author of the five-volume series Toledo’s War (University of Toledo Press, 2024).About the Book and Award Boyle’s five-volume Toledo’s War is the definitive account of Toledoans’ WWII experience. It won the Local History Publication Award, Book Category, Independent Division.
