Formerly the Freddie and Frieda 5K, this fan-favorite event now honors legendary Falcon and Olympic gold medalist Dave Wottle ‘73, who captured the world’s attention with his iconic 800-meter victory in 1972.The 5K kicks off at the Alumni Gateway and winds through campus, finishing near McDonald Hall – just steps from the BiG Breakfast at The Oaks. Whether you're chasing a new personal record or enjoying a fun walk with family, runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome.Stick around after the race for the 100-meter Kids Dash, perfect for our youngest Falcons!Registration opens in early June.
