BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — The Bowling Green State University men's cross country team will compete in the MAC Championships on Saturday, Nov. 1, at the Audubon Golf Course in Buffalo, N.Y.

The 8K race for the Falcons begins at 11 a.m. ET and marks the culmination of the Falcons' 2025 campaign.

The Falcons aims to close the season strong. Key contributors include Junior Micah Bentley, who posted an 8K PR of 25:37.2 earlier this fall at the Paul Short Run. Sophomore Luke Lesseuer has been a recent standout, setting new 8K PRs at every meet since returning from injury.

The Falcons face a competitive field this weekend, with Great Lakes regional powers No. 9 Toledo, No. 10 Akron, No. 13 Ohio and No. 14 Miami (Ohio) among contenders. Bowling Green looks to improve its conference finish and deliver its best performance of the year.

Saturday's meet also carries significance in the Battle of I-75, the year-long, points-based rivalry between Bowling Green and Toledo that spans all sports. Ten points will be on the line in the men's race, with BGSU currently leading 26-5.
