- CCHA Holds Virtual Media Day on Midco Sports PlusBOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) held its yearly virtual media day on Tuesday, Sep. 16, where each coach in the CCHA had an opportunity to give a statement on the progression of their programs and also face questions from the media. The broadcast can be viewed in its entirety on Midco Sports Plus, the official streaming partner of the CCHA, and the premier place to watch Falcon hockey all season long.
- BGSU Travels to Kalamazoo for Second Meet of the SeasonBowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green men's cross country team will head to Kalamazoo, Mich., on Sept. 19 for the George Dales Invite. The Falcons will toe the line Friday morning at 10:40 a.m. in the Jack Shaw 8K.

- Falcons Add Transfer Infielder Anthony Mitta To 2026 RosterBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University baseball program will add senior infielder Anthony Mitta to the 2026 roster. Mitta comes to the Falcons after spending the last two seasons at the University of Mount Olive. A native of Raleigh, N.C., Mitta joins a list of seven other transfers to join the Falcons for the upcoming season.
- BGSU Baseball Welcomes Seven Transfers Ahead Of 2026 CampaignBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University baseball program will welcome seven transfers to the team for the 2026 campaign. Over the summer, the Falcons added sophomore right-handed pitcher Chase Clatur, junior right-handed pitcher Andrew Heffernan, junior outfielder Pauly Mancino, redshirt junior right-handed pitcher Ethan Papacek, redshirt junior infielder Vinny Salvione, redshirt senior left-handed pitcher Ethan Stade and junior catcher Lance Vickers.

- BGSU Legend Anthony Stacey Returns To Falcons As Assistant CoachBOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green State University head men's basketball coach Todd Simon announced the addition of Anthony Stacey to the Falcons' coaching staff. Stacey will return to the Falcons for his second stint as an assistant coach following five years as the head coach at Whitmer High School. He previously served as an assistant with Bowling Green for five seasons under Michael Huger from 2015-2020. Stacey, a 2011 BGSU Hall of Fame inductee, still ranks second all-time for career points in the Orange and Brown with 1,938.
- BGSU Men’s Basketball Releases Non-Conference Slate To Complete 2025-26 ScheduleBOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball program has announced the non-conference portion of the 2025-26 schedule. With the additions, the schedule currently contains 31 games for the Falcons. In total, BGSU will host 17 contests while going on the road for 14 games. As for conference play, BGSU will host nine and travel for nine. The conference schedule was previously released on Aug. 21.

- Kleather Named MAC Special Teams Player of the WeekBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green State University placekicker Jackson Kleather was named Mid-American Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for games played through Sept. 14. It is the second career MAC weekly award for Kleather. He also earned the honor after Week No. 1 this season.

- Preview: Men's Golf Opens Play at Golden Grizzlies IntercollegiateROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. – The BGSU men's golf team will kick off its fall slate of tournaments this weekend, Sep. 13-14, as they travel to Rochester Hills, Mich. for the Golden Grizzlies Intercollegiate hosted by Oakland University. The tournament will be 3 rounds, totaling 54 holes and will be held at Katke-Cousins Golf Course, which is a par 72, totaling 7,273 yards. The Falcons had a strong showing at the Golden Grizzlies in 2024, as they finished fourth out of the 15 team field, shooting an 886 (+22) as a team.
- Standout Golfer Hudak Returns as Assistant CoachBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Head coach John Powers of the BGSU men's golf team has announced that Darin Hudak, a recent graduate from the program, will be returning as an assistant coach for the upcoming year. With Hudak's addition, coach Powers has rounded out his staff for the upcoming season and continues to build momentum for the program's fall slate of tournaments, beginning in just a few weeks.

The BGSU ice hockey team was tabbed 5th in the coaches pre-season rankings, and 3rd in the media pre-season rankings.

Five teams will be competing this weekend at the event including Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, Oakland, Toledo and Youngstown State. The tournament will be held at the Chippewa Club with matches starting at 9 a.m. each day. Admission is free for all spectators.

- BGVB Preps For Home Opener Wednesday, Non-Conference Finale This WeekendBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University volleyball team will open their home schedule this week while closing their non-conference slate. Bowling Green's home opener is set for Wednesday (Sept. 17) against Oakland with a 6 p.m. first serve. The Falcons will then hit the road for their final two tests before MAC play starts next week. The Orange and Brown will face Michigan State on Friday (Sept. 19) with a 6 p.m. start before taking on Binghamton on Saturday (Sept. 20) at 3 p.m., both in East Lansing. The match against Oakland will be on ESPN+ while the two at Michigan State will be on BIG+.
