Nairn, Chmiel To Join Coaches Show Monday Night Ahead Of Toledo Weekend
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The weekly Falcons Nest Coaches Show presented by Fricker's, returns Monday night (Feb. 17) on Falcon Sports Radio Network stations. The "Voice of the Falcons" Todd Walker will be joined live at Fricker's by two guests. Ahead of Toledo week for the basketball programs, assistant men's basketball coach Lourawls "Tum" Nairn Jr. will start the show at 6 p.m. while head women's basketball coach Fred Chmiel will take the second half hour.

For fans unable to make the show in person at Fricker's, the show can be heard locally on WFRO 99.1 FM, 100.7 FM in Toledo, 1280 WONW in Defiance and 970 WFUN in Ashtabula. The men's basketball team will be back at the Stroh Center on Tuesday (Feb. 18) coming off wins in three of their last four games. The Falcons will host Kent State for Star Wars night and a 7 p.m. tip on Tuesday. From there, Bowling Green will head up the road for the second edition in the men's side of the Battle of I-75 on Friday night (Feb. 21), which will be a national TV broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
The women's basketball team has won four of their last five games, including a home win on Saturday (Feb. 15) over Central Michigan. The Falcons will begin the week on the road against Western Michigan on Wednesday (Feb. 19) with a 7 p.m. start. As for the women's side of the Battle of I-75 is set for Saturday (Feb. 22) inside the Stroh Center. The game will be an Orange Wave and will also feature the Mascot Reveal for the BGSU Birds.
