BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – On Friday, Oct. 17, the Bowling Green cross country program will host the Falcon Invitational at the Mel Brodt Cross Country Course. The men's team will race at 4:30 p.m., preceding the women's team who will run at 5:10 p.m.

Friday's meet will consist of several MAC teams, including four teams ranked in the Great Lakes Region. Ninth ranked Toledo, No. 10 Akron, No. 12 Oakland and No. 13 Ohio will prove a formidable field for the BGSU.

The Falcons are coming off a warm, hilly afternoon race at Paul Short. A massive meet in east Pennsylvania, Bowling Green's performance was highlighted by junior Micah Bentley's 54th place finish and senior Bryce Weber's 26:23.3 8k PR. After a cohesive run and a step forward as a team, BGSU aims to continue to improve as they prepare for Friday's meet.

Bowling Green's season will continue on Nov. 1 when they travel to Buffalo for the MAC Championships.
