Noah Tylutki Earns Two CSC Fred Stabley Sr. Writing Contest District Runner-Up Awards
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – BGSU Strategic Communications Coordinator Noah Tylutki has earned two District 4 Runner-Up awards from the College Sports Communicators (CSC) for two of his stories written during the 2024 calendar year.
The Fred Stabley Sr. Writing Contest recognizes the top writing and storytelling content in seven different categories from current 2024-25 CSC members written during the 2024 calendar year in College (Division I) and University (Division II, III and NAIA) divisions.
"Noah has added a tremendous storytelling element to BGSUFalcons.com, and these honors are a direct reflection of his ability to connect readers to the rich history and evolving narratives of our programs," said BGSU Assistant Athletics Director for Strategic Communications Vincent Briedis. "Being recognized by CSC for two distinct stories speaks volumes about the quality, creativity and impact of his work for our athletics programs."
Categories include athlete profile, coach/administrator profile, event coverage, general feature/blog, historical feature, season recap/preview and social justice.
Tylutki earned runner-up honors in the District 4 College Division in the historical feature category for his piece, In the Nest: Olympic Spotlight with Dave Wottle highlighting 1972 Olympic gold medalist and BGSU alum Dave Wottle.
He also took runner-up in the same district and division's season recap/preview category for his Swim & Dive Season Preview: Falcons Invigorated With Energy As Tanner Barton Era Begins.
CSC members in all eight districts submitted nearly 500 articles in the seven categories, with more than 110 being honored as district winners and runner-ups. District winners advance to a national ballot.
