Bowling Green Announces Future Dates with Cincinnati and Liberty
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green announced today future football dates with Cincinnati and Liberty. Both games will be played during the 2025 season.
BGSU will play at Cincinnati on Sept. 6, 2025, and host Liberty on Sept. 13, 2025. The Cincinnati game replaces the previously scheduled contest at Minnesota, which has been moved to the 2028 (Sept. 9) season. The Liberty game was originally scheduled for 2028 but was moved up to 2025.
Bowling Green will be facing Cincinnati for the first time since 1994 and fifth time overall. The 2025 meeting will be just the second time the Falcons and Bearcats have met on UC's campus. Two previous meetings (1991, 1993) happened at Doyt Perry Stadium and the first in the all-time series was held at Riverfront Stadium in 1990.
Liberty will make its second all-time trip to Doyt Perry Stadium after first coming in 2003. BGSU was supposed to host the Flames in 2020, but the COVID Pandemic canceled all non-conference games. Bowling Green and Liberty met for just the second time in series history last year in Lynchburg, Va.
The additions of Cincinnati and Liberty concludes the non-conference schedule for 2025. BGSU also hosts Lafayette on Aug. 30 and travels to Louisville on Sept. 20.
