Learfield’s Falcon Sports Properties and Bowling Green Athletics Announce On-Field Logo Partnership with Greenbriar Inc.
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Learfield’s Falcon Sports Properties, Bowling Green Athletics, and Greenbriar Inc. announced today a transformative partnership that sees the Falcons join the growing trend of on-field logo sponsorships in college football.
Greenbriar, a real estate management company managing rentals throughout Northwest Ohio, will have its logo featured on the 25-yard lines at Doyt L. Perry Stadium for Bowling Green’s last two home games of the 2024 football season. The on-field logos make their debut this Tuesday when the Falcons host Mid-American Conference foe Western Michigan.
“We continue to pursue innovative strategies to elevate the brand and presence of our corporate sponsors in the region,” said Director of Athletics Derek van der Merwe. “Our BGSU community and all of the businesses in the region are critical partners in our quest for excellence and championships. Serving their business needs and being a part of their growth are essential to our mission.”
The Falcons remaining two home football games are set to be nationally televised, providing an incredible opportunity for significant TV exposure for both Bowling Green Athletics and Greenbriar through their on-field logo sponsorship.
In addition to the national exposure received via television broadcasts, Greenbriar continues its direct local support of the Falcons as the sponsor of the Sacks for Sacks initiative, donating $25 – the approximate equivalent of a sack of groceries – to the local food pantry for every sack made by the Falcons this season.
The Greenbriar brand also has in-venue visibility with various digital and static signage placements inside Doyt L. Perry Stadium.
“Greenbriar is thrilled to partner with BGSU Athletics and Falcon Sports Properties on this unique opportunity to sponsor the field logos at Doyt Perry Stadium,” said Bob and Patricia Maurer, Owners of Greenbriar Inc. “We are excited to continue to support the student athletes at BGSU.”
Prior to expanding their partnership to include on-field logos at football games, Greenbriar has been a partner of Bowling Green Athletics and Falcon Sports Properties for six years and is also the presenting sponsor of the 2024-25 Bowling Green Hockey season.
“This is an exciting opportunity in an emerging asset category, and we’re thrilled to collaborate with a terrific partner in Greenbriar,” added David Anderson, General Manager of Falcon Sports Properties. “We appreciate their continued support of the Falcons and are ecstatic to see both of our brands elevated together on national television.”
Falcon Sports Properties, the locally based team of Learfield – the media and technology company powering college sports – is the exclusive multimedia rights holder for Bowling Green Athletics and handles all sponsorships, in-venue signage, and advertising on behalf of the Falcons.
