Falcons and RedHawks To Meet Friday
• Bowling Green State University hosts a monumental MAC home game on Friday at Doyt Perry Stadium when the Falcons welcome the Miami RedHawks to town. The winner secures a spot in the MAC Championship game in Detroit on Dec. 7.
• It is the 78th meeting between the Falcons and the RedHawks.
• It is BGSU's first "Black Friday" game since hosting Ohio in 2021.
• Kick is set for noon and the game will be televised on ESPNU.

• Miami (OH) leads the all-time series with BGSU, 47-25-5.
• Since 2000, Bowling Green is 5-1 against MU when the Falcons hold the RedHawks below 300 yards of total offense.
• Since 2000, Bowling Green is 3-2 against MU when the Falcons accumulate 400+ yards of total offense.

• A win on Friday will give the Falcons their first appearance in the MAC Championship in Detroit since going to three straight from 2013-15.
• TE Harold Fannin Jr. leads the nation in receiving yards with 1,295. He leads the nation's tight ends in 21+ offensive categories, including receptions (92), yards after catch (719), first downs (62), broken tackles (29), and receiving touchdowns (9). According to Pro Football Focus, Fannin has the nation's highest overall grade (97.0) and ranks No. 1 in pass routes grade (97.2) among all receivers. Nationally, he is additionally ranked No. 2 in receptions, T-No. 1 in broken tackles, No. 2 in first downs, and No. 1 in yards after catch. Fannin is a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award and the John Mackey Award.
• Fannin ranks third all-time in FBS history for single-season receiving yards by a tight end. He needs just 58 yards to surpass the FBS record of 1,352 yards, set by Texas Tech's Jace Amaro in 2013. With 92 receptions this season, Fannin is third all-time in single-season catches by a tight end. He needs 20 more receptions to break the record held by Rice's James Casey, who totaled 111 in 2008.
• WR Rahkeem Smith had 129 all-purpose yards, including 81 receiving yards, last time out against Ball State. He scored two receiving touchdowns, one rushing touchdown, and blocked a punt, all coming in the second half. He was named MAC Co-Offensive POW for his efforts.
• ILB Brock Horne and S Patrick Day are set to break the program record for career games played with 56 on Friday, passing former Falcon OL Alex Huettel (2011-15).
BGSU Owns MAC's Top Rusher and Receiver
• RB Terion Stewart leads the MAC in rushing yards per game (95.1) and TE Harold Fannin Jr. leads the MAC in receiving yards per game (117.7). Stewart ranks No. 25 nationally and Fannin ranks No. 1 nationally.
Stewart is Hard to Bring Down
• RB Terion Stewart is tough to bring down. Despite missing games against Penn State and Akron, Stewart is No. 12 nationally among players with 100 carries in yards after contact per attempt, averaging 4.27.
• Stewart ranks No. 3 in the nation with 6.9 broken tackles per game. He has broken 62 tackles over nine games, which puts him No. 6 nationally. However, all other players with at least 40 broken tackles have played at least nine games.
• Stewart forced 11 missed tackles in the season opener against Fordham, the fourth most nationally after Week 1.
• At Central Michigan, Stewart forced 14 missed tackles and averaged 6.35 yards after contact.
• During BGSU's current five-game winning streak, Stewart is averaging 6.8 broken tackles a game and 4.4 yards per rush after contact. He has amassed 522 total rushing yards on 5.7 yards per carry over the last five games.

• QB Connor Bazelak was 11-of-13 for 179 yards and two touchdowns (0 INTS) in play action at Ball State on Nov. 23 per Pro Football Focus.
Bazelak is Accurate
• QB Connor Bazelak is No. 16 in the nation and No. 1 in the MAC with 67.6 completion percentage.
• Bazelak is the No. 1 graded quarterback in the MAC at 81.7.
Defense is Locked in During the Win Streak
• During BGSU's current five-game winning streak, the Falcons are allowing 279.2 yards per game.
• The Falcons held Western Michigan (95) and Ball State (43) under 100 yards rushing and kept Kent State (78) and Central Michigan (63) under 100 yards passing.
Falcons Defense Grounds Ball State
• Entering BGSU's game at Ball State, the Cardinals had lost all five of its MAC games by six points or less. BGSU won 38-13.
• The Falcons held the Cardinal offense in check, including sacking the quarter back four times and holding Ball State standout tight end Tanner Koziol to two receptions in the first quarter for six yards. Koziol entered the game No. 4 in the nation in receptions and is a semifinalist for the John Mackey Award. Koziol didn't have another reception until the fourt quarter when the game was in hand and finished with five receptions for 27 yards.
