Bowling Green Football Lands No. 1 Transfer Class in the MAC, per 247Sports
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green State University Football has earned the No. 1 transfer class ranking in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) for the 2025 season, according to 247Sports. The Falcons welcome 27 transfers to bolster their roster under Mike and Jan Wilcox Head Coach Eddie George, bringing in a mix of Power Four experience, FCS standouts, and highly rated JUCO and Division II talent.

Along with its incoming freshman class, Bowling Green will welcome 51 new Falcons to the roster in 2025. BGSU opens the season on Thursday, Aug. 28, when Lafayette comes to town for a 6 p.m. kickoff. Former BGSU head coach Urban Meyer will be honored during the game as part of the National Football Foundation's Campus Salute celebration, recognizing his upcoming induction into the College Football Hall of Fame this December.
