Bowling Green 2024 Football Game Notes Named 18th-Best in the Nation Among All Sports by CSC
ORLANDO, Fla. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) University Division has ranked Bowling Green State University's 2024 football game notes No. 18 nationally across all sports. The announcement was made during the CSC Unite Convention at the World Center Marriott in Orlando.
The University Division includes all NCAA Division I institutions. BGSU's ranking is No. 6 among FBS football game notes and marks the Falcons as one of just two non-Power conference schools represented, joining Boise State. Bowling Green is also the only Mid-American Conference institution to earn distinction in the category.
The BGSU football game notes are compiled and designed by Vincent Briedis, Assistant AD for Strategic Communications, with support from Communications Coordinator Noah Tylutki.
"This is an incredible honor for our department," said Briedis. "To be one of only six FBS football programs to recognized in a competitive category that spans all sports speaks volumes. I'm especially grateful to Noah Tylutki for his tireless work on statistical compilation and proofing throughout the season. We routinely receive praise from television crews for the quality of our notes, and it's rewarding to see that work acknowledged on a national level.I also want to thank Assistant Director Kyle Edmond, our secondary contact, and Associate Director Mike Cihon for their continued contributions to our football coverage and operations. We need the power of the group to serve all our stakeholders effectively and efficiently."
Briedis has previously earned multiple publication awards from CSC (formerly CoSIDA) for his work at the University of Virginia and Liberty University. Tylutki also was honored with two District 4 Runner-Up accolades from CSC in the Fred Stabley Sr. Writing Contest, which was previously announced. Cihon also was honored with the previously announced Achievement Award.
