The Falcons Nest Coaches Show with Todd Walker Returns Tonight with Todd Simon and Fred Chmiel
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The weekly "Falcons Nest Coaches Show" radio program, presented by Fricker's, returns Monday night on Falcon Sports Radio Network stations. Bowling Green head men's basketball coach Todd Simon and women's head basketball coach Fred Chmiel will join the "Voice of the Falcons" Todd Walker from 6-7 p.m. at the Bowling Green Fricker's. Coach Loeffler will kick off the show at 6 p.m.
The men's basketball team is 3-5 to start the season and just coming off a 61-60 win over New Mexico State in the Arizona Tip-Off. The win was the 150th of Simon's head coach career. BGSU returns to action on Saturday when Morgan State comes to the Stroh Center. Tip is at 2 p.m. The women's basketball team is coming off a 79-78 win against SEC foe Arkansas as the Falcons swept their two games in the Daytona Beach Classic. BGSU is 4-4 on the season and returns hom on Saturday to host Xavier at 7 p.m.

For Bowling Green, Javontae Campbell led the way with 27 points and five steals while Marcus Johnson tallied 22 points.

The Falcons will head west to Kansas City for a matchup with the Roos, the first trip to KC for BGSU in program history. The game between BGSU and Kansas City is scheduled for an 8 p.m. EST tip. This week's recipients consisted of two MAC Co-Players of the Week, including Bowling Green's Derrick Butler, a senior guard from Charlotte, N.C. Butler was joined in the honor by Miami (OH)'s Peter Suder. This marks the first award of Butler's BGSU career and he is the first Falcon to be named MAC Player of the Week this season.
