BGSU Men’s Hoops To Host Davidson In Non-Conference Play
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball program has announced the non-conference schedule for the 2024-25 campaign, completing the team's full schedule for the season. BGSU and the MAC released the conference schedule on August 14. In total, the Falcons will play 12 non-conference games and 18 MAC games for a total of 30 on the regular season schedule. During the 2024-25 non-conference schedule, the Falcons are set to host Davidson, Taylor, Niagara, Morgan State and St. Thomas while traveling to Southern Miss, Michigan State, Bellarmine and UMKC as well as the Arizona Tip-Off.
"We've put together a challenging schedule to prepare us for MAC play," said Head Coach Todd Simon. "Michigan State is always among the most difficult places to play in college basketball. Southern Miss, Bellarmine and UMKC are tough road games. Our tournament in Arizona will feature very good competition with historically quality teams. At home, we open with Davidson, who will be the highest NET ranked non-conference opponent at the Stroh since 2017. Additionally, we host Summit League contender St. Thomas to finish the non-conference before MAC play. The 10 newcomers this season will be well tested for the gauntlet to Cleveland for the MAC Tournament."
