Williams, Simon, Barton Set To Join Packed Coaches Show Monday Night
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The weekly Falcons Nest Coaches Show presented by Fricker's, returns Monday night (Jan. 27) on Falcon Sports Radio Network stations. The show will begin live at Fricker's with Kevin Piel hosting this week. Head hockey coach Dennis Williams will kick off the show at 6 p.m. The second guest, head men's basketball coach Todd Simon, will join remotely via a pre-recorded session with the "Voice of the Falcons" Todd Walker due to men's basketball travel. The show will wrap up live in-person at Fricker's with Piel being joined by head swimming and diving coach Tanner Barton.

The hockey team for the Falcons have been hot of late, surging up to fourth in the CCHA standings. Coming off a home series against Augustana, Bowling Green will head on the road this week, traveling to face Northern Michigan on Friday and Saturday (Jan. 31-Feb. 1), both with 7:07 p.m. puck drops.
The men's basketball team will also be on the road this week, playing two MAC contests away from the Stroh Center. Bowling Green will begin the week at Kent State on Tuesday (Jan. 28) with a 7 p.m. tip. From there, the Falcons will transition to Central Michigan on Saturday (Feb. 1) with a 7 p.m. start, the second game of a BGSU-CMU doubleheader with the women's teams playing earlier in the day at 1 p.m. in Mount Pleasant.
The swimming and diving team is coming off a first place finish at the Butler Invitational this past weekend, taking first in the five-team field. This weekend, the Orange and Brown will take on Toledo and Buffalo. The three teams will begin at Cooper Pool in Bowling Green on Friday (Jan. 31) before transitioning to Toledo on Saturday (Feb. 1).

Kimbrough, a 6-foot guard, will join the Falcons after spending the 2024-25 campaign with Highland Community College in Illinois. A native of Maricopa, Ariz., Kimbrough was named an NJCAA Division I All-America Honorable Mention as well as All-Region Honors this past season in the NJCAA's Region 4.

Glover, a 6-foot-10 forward, will join the Falcons after spending the last two seasons with the University of Missouri-St. Louis. A native of Wheaton, Ill., Glover was named the 2024-25 Great Lakes Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year and earned All-Defensive honors from the conference as well.
- Falcons Sign PBC Freshman Of The Year Josiah ShackelfordBOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball program and head coach Todd Simon announced the signing of Josiah Shackelford on Thursday (April 24). Shackelford, a 6-foot-4 guard, will join the Falcons after playing the 2024-25 season at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Fla. A native of Sanford, Fla., Shackelford was named the 2024-25 Peach Belt Conference Freshman of the Year and earned All-Conference Third-Team honors as well.
- Felt, Humphrey Named Academic All-MACCLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced Friday afternoon (April 4) the 2024-25 Men's Basketball Academic All-MAC Team. A total of 29 student-athletes were named across the conference with Bowling Green totaling two with Jamai Felt and DaJion Humphrey being named. Western Michigan led the way in the MAC with five, followed closely by Toledo's four.
