BGSU, Toledo Men’s Basketball Selected For National Television, Moved To Feb. 21
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced Tuesday (Feb. 4) that the season's second edition in the men's basketball Battle of I-75 will be aired on CBS Sports Network. Originally scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22, the national television selection will move the game to Friday, Feb. 21 inside Savage Arena. The game is now set for a 6 p.m. tip.
With the selection, the entirety of this season's men's basketball Battle of I-75 will be aired on CBS Sports Network. The first game in the series was also broadcasted on CBS Sports Network with that game being at the Stroh Center on Jan. 24. This marks the third straight BGSU-Toledo men's basketball game to be on national TV with last year's second game being on ESPNU. This will be the first meeting in Savage Arena between the teams on national TV since March 4, 2022 on CBS Sports Network.
In total, this will be Bowling Green's fourth nationally televised game this season. In addition to the two against Toledo, the Falcons played two other road games on national TV. BGSU began MAC play on CBS Sports Network against Akron on Jan. 3. The first national TV game for BGSU this year was at Michigan State on Nov. 16, being shown on the Big Ten Network. This marks the most regular season games on national TV for the Falcons since having four during the 2020-21 season. Last year, the Falcons had four games on national TV, but the fourth was during the MAC Tournament.
