BGSU Men's Basketball Announces 2024-25 Conference Schedule
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball program has announced the conference portion of the 2024-25 schedule. The Falcons are set to play 18 games within the Mid-American Conference, hosting nine and traveling for nine. The non-conference portion of the 2024-25 schedule for Bowling Green as well as game times and TV designations will be announced at a later date.
Play within the MAC will begin for the Falcons at home on Jan. 4 by hosting the Akron Zips. Following the home start, BGSU will hit the road for two contests, taking on Western Michigan in Kalamazoo on Jan. 7 and Ball State in Muncie on Jan. 11.
After the first road trips of the conference campaign, the Orange and Brown will return to the Stroh Center for two games, hosting Buffalo on Jan. 14 and Eastern Michigan on Jan. 18. The schedule will shift back to the road on Jan. 21 in Oxford against Miami (OH).
The Battle of I-75 will begin on Saturday, Jan. 25 at the Stroh Center, marking the final home game in January for Bowling Green. The Falcons will conclude the month of January at Kent State on Jan. 28.
The month of February will begin the same way January ended for the Falcons, on the road. The first game for BGSU will be in Mount Pleasant, taking on Central Michigan on Feb. 1. The schedule will then bring Bowling Green home on Feb. 4 to host Northern Illinois before a break in the MACtion for the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge on Feb. 8 with the opponent yet to be determined.
Conference competition will resume for the Falcons on Feb. 11 at home, hosting the Ohio Bobcats. A brief road trip to Buffalo on Feb. 15 will interrupt the homestand before being back at the Stroh Center on Feb. 18 against Kent State.
The second leg of the Battle of I-75, this time at Savage Arena, is set for Saturday, Feb. 22 and will mark the first of two consecutive road games for BGSU. The second will be a bit further north in Ypsilanti against Eastern Michigan on Feb. 25
The month of March will begin at home for the Falcons against Ball State on March 1 before transitioning to the road. The lone regular season road game for Bowling Green in March will be in DeKalb against Northern Illinois on March 4. The regular season will wrap up at home for the Orange and Brown, concluding the schedule against Western Michigan on March 7 in the Stroh Center.
"The MAC will be a challenge once again from top to bottom this season," said head coach Todd Simon. "Every game will be extremely important to the race to the MAC Tournament. With a strong home slate of games, we hope to pack the Stroh Center and create a home court advantage like no other in the MAC."
Bowling Green is coming off a 2023-24 season that marked one of the quickest runarounds in program history. The Falcons tallied 20 wins for just the 10th time in the program's MAC era, becoming one of 10 teams in the nation to go from 20 losses in 2022-23 to 20 wins in 2023-24. The season saw Bowling Green advance to the MAC Semifinals and make an appearance in the CIT.

Season tickets are now on sale for men's and women's basketball at Bowling Green State University. Fans can purchase season tickets for both Falcon basketball teams by utilizing the link below, visiting the BGSU Ticket Office in the Stroh Center or calling the ticket office at 419-372-0000.
Pricing for the Men's Basketball season is $350 for Anderson Club, $225 for Midcourt Reserved, $215 for Sideline Reserved and $150 for General Admission. For Anderson Club seats, you must be at the $250 Falcon Club level.
Families can save time and money with the Family Pack! The Family Pack for the men's basketball team is $450. You will receive four (4) Baseline General Admission season tickets for men's basketball to root for the Falcon's for $30 or less per game.
BGSU Faculty and Staff receive 25 percent off Reserved Chairback or General Admission tickets. Additionally, BGSU Faculty/Staff have the option to utilize Payroll Deduction for the cost of their tickets. Faculty/Staff can contact the Ticket Office to take advantage of this deal.
Season Tickets are able to be renewed or purchased online, by calling the Ticket Office at 419-372-0000, or stopping by the Stroh Center. The Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

A total of 29 student-athletes were named across the conference with Bowling Green totaling two with Jamai Felt and DaJion Humphrey being named. Western Michigan led the way in the MAC with five, followed closely by Toledo's four.
- Falcons Late Season Surge Comes To Close In MAC QuarterfinalsCLEVELAND, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team kicked off the 2024-25 MAC Men's Basketball Tournament in Cleveland on Thursday (March 13) inside Rocket Arena. Bowling Green took on the top-seeded Akron Zips in the first game of the tournament on the men's side. For the Falcons, Marcus Johnson led the way with 23 points, including five three-pointers, while Jamai Felt added 12 points and Javontae Campbell tallied 10 points and swiped four steals for the Orange and Brown. Despite the efforts, Akron came away with a 96-67 final. For Bowling Green, the loss closes out a stretch to end the year that included wins in seven of their last 11 contests.
- Campbell, Felt Earn All-MAC RecognitionsCLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced the MAC Awards for the 2024-25 men's basketball season Wednesday morning (March 12). Of those named, the Falcons collected three different honors from the conference. Javontae Campbell earned All-MAC Third Team as well as MAC All-Defensive Team honors while Jamai Felt was named to the MAC All-Freshman Team. Campbell and Felt continue a streak of 24 consecutive seasons with at least one Falcon named to an All-MAC team at the conclusion of the season.
