Bowling Green Set to Co-Host Virtues Intercollegiate with Miami (OH), on Saturday and Sunday
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green men's golf team continues their fall season on Saturday Sept. 27, co-hosting the Virtues Intercollegiate with Miami (OH). The tournament will be played at the Virtues Golf Club, a par-72, 7243 yard course, in Nashport, Ohio.
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green men's golf team continues their fall season on Saturday Sept. 27, co-hosting the Virtues Intercollegiate with Miami (OH). The tournament will be played at the Virtues Golf Club, a par-72, 7,243 yard course, in Nashport, Ohio.
The first 36 holes will be played on Saturday and the final 18 holes are set to be played on Sunday. Both days are scheduled for an 8:30am shotgun start.
Last Time Out
- At the season opener, the Golden Grizzlies Intercollegiate, the Falcons placed fourth out of 15 teams
- Seniors Darin Hudak and Zander Gibson led all BGSU golfers and finished tied for No.14
- In the third round, Zander Gibson shot -7 under par which helped the Falcons jump three spots into fourth, and was good for tied for 2nd lowest 18-hole score in program history
Notables
- BGSU will be attending the Virtues Intercollegiate for the second season in a row
- This marks the first time in program history that BGSU will be hosting the Virtues Intercollegiate and the first time hosting a tournament since last year at the Highland Meadows Intercollegiate
- Five Mid-American Conference schools will be competing at the Virtues Intercollegiate: Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, Miami (OH), Ohio
- Freshman Brady Fox will make his BGSU team debut after competing as an individual at the Put Me in Coach Invitational
