Five Men’s Golfers Named to the 2024-25 Academic All-MAC
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference named five members of the Bowling Green State University men's golf team to the 2024-25 Academic All-MAC list, as announced by the league.
Luke Evans, Zander Gibson, Darin Hudak, Ethan Irvine and Evan Johnson all earned the honors. It is the third honor for Hudak, the second for Evans and Irvine, while Gibson and Johnson earned accolades for the first time in their careers.
Academic All-MAC is awarded to a student-athlete who has excelled in both athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that sport. First year freshmen and first year junior college transfers are not eligible.

A native of Avon, Ind., Nickol brings an impressive resume of collegiate golf experience, as he was a standout performer on the men's golf team at Kentucky Wesleyan College (KWC) from 2021-2024.
