Falcon Golf Heads to Babygrande Golf Donald Ross Collegiate
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcon Men's Golf team will travel to George Mason's Babygrande Golf Donald Ross Collegiate. BGSU will be traveling to the tournament for the third consecutive season. The two-day event will be held at Mid Pines Inn and Golf Club, par-72, 6,657-yard course in Southern Pines, N.C.
Last Time Out
- BGSU shot a 278 (-10) for the sixth lowest 18-hole team round score in program history in the second round
- Three Falcons: Darin Hudak (-5) , Evan Johnson (-3) and Zander Gibson (-2) shot under par in the second round
- Darin Hudak's 67(-5) in the second round earned him a new career round low and ranks 7th all time in program history
- BGSU finished tied for second in the tournament with Eagles + with three while Hudak finished first with two
Notables
- The Orange and Brown will be traveling to Southern Pines, N.C. for the third consecutive season with their highest team score coming in the 2022-23 at eighth place
- BGSU will be one of three MAC schools competing in the event with the others being Toledo and Ohio
- BGSU will be competing in their first event in close to a month after finishing play at the Mesquite Desert Classic on Feb. 18
- Bowling Green will be facing off against six teams from the A10 conference including Loyola-Chicago who they beat in match play earlier this spring

This will mark the Falcons first trip to an Eastern Kentucky sponsored event since the 2019-2020 season.
- Falcons Golf Finishes Fifth in The Match PlayDADE CITY, Fla. – The Bowling Green Men's Golf Team finished their first tournament of the 2025 competitive spring season. In match-play the Falcons went 2-1-0 with round two and three wins over the Central Michigan Chippewas and USC Upstate Spartans. The two-day event was held at Lake Jovita Country Club, a par 72, 7121-yard course in Dade City, Fla.
- BGSU Men’s Golf Set to Open 2025 at The Match PlayBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Men's Golf team will open the 2025 competitive spring portion of their season at the Match Play on Monday Feb. 10 – Tuesday Feb. 11. The tournament hosted by Ball State will consist of match play match-up with the team with more points moving on to the next round. The shot gun start is scheduled for 8:30 am at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club in Dade City, Fla.
