BGSU Men’s Golf Set to Open 2025 at The Match Play
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Men's Golf team will open the 2025 competitive spring portion of their season at the Match Play on Monday Feb. 10 – Tuesday Feb. 11. The tournament hosted by Ball State will consist of match play match-up with the team with more points moving on to the next round. The shot gun start is scheduled for 8:30 am at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club in Dade City, Fla.

Notables
- The Match Play tournament will feature three schools from the Mid-American Conference: Central Michigan, Ball State and Bowling Green
- The Falcons will face-off against Loyola-Chicago in the first round, who they saw this past fall at the Dayton Flyer Invitational
- BGSU will have potential to compete against Central Michigan, Dayton and Richmond all of whom they saw in the fall season
- If the Orange and Brown win their first round match up against the Ramblers, they would face the winner of the Richmond/Central Michigan

In the three-day three round event the Falcons finished ninth out of 12 teams. Notably, in the second round, the Falcons shot a 278 (-10) for the sixth lowest 18-hole team score in program history.
- BGSU Men’s Golf Travels to Nevada for Mesquite Desert ClassicBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons Golf Team will travel to Mesquite, Nev., to compete in Eastern Kentucky's Mesquite Desert Classic at the Casablanca Resort & Casino. This will mark the Falcons first trip to an Eastern Kentucky sponsored event since the 2019-2020 season.

In match-play the Falcons went 2-1-0 with round two and three wins over the Central Michigan Chippewas and USC Upstate Spartans.
