BGSU Men’s Golf Releases 2024-25 Schedule
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio- The Bowling Green State University men's golf program and head coach John Powers have announced the program's 2024-25 schedule. The 2024-25 schedule features 15 tournaments starting in September and finishes in late April with the MAC tournament.
"We're very excited to have put together a first-class schedule for our team this year," said Powers. "We tee it up against elite fields in our region and various parts of the country. After a strong Midwest presence in the fall, expanding our spring travel allows us to build up to the MAC Championship in late April steadily. We're also providing exceptional opportunities for our entire team to develop, guaranteeing at least four events to each program member over the regular season. This will pay dividends for our depth as there is no substitute for tournament play."
BGSU will play four tournaments in the fall and seven in the spring. The Orange and Brown will open the season on Sept.14-15 at Oakland's Golden Grizzlies Intercollegiate in Rochester Hills, Mich. The following weekend, Sept.28-29, the Falcons will host the Virtues Intercollegiate. Bowling Green will once again wrap up the fall competitive portion of the schedule on Oct.21-22 at the Dayton Intercollegiate.
To start spring competition, the Falcons will compete at the MAC/A10 championship tournament in Dade City, Fla. on Feb. 10-11. The spring season will be highlighted by BGSU competing in the Ross Collegiate Classic and Sweetens Cove Intercollegiate for the third straight year.
The Orange and Brown will cap the season with hosting the MAC Championship on Apr. 28-29 at the Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City, Ohio. The entire schedule can be viewed below.
