BGSU Men’s Golf Finishes Play at Miami’s Redhawk Invitational
PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Bowling Green men's golf team finished 13 out of 16 teams at the Miami Redhawk Invitational. The two-day event was held at the Pittsburgh Field Club in Pittsburgh, Pa., a par 71, 6,827 yard course.
Seniors Darin Hudak was the highest finisher from Bowling Green and finished tied for No.21. In the second and third rounds, Hudak shot 69 (-2) and 70 (-1), respectively.
Additionally, Bowling Green competed in the Golden Flash Invitational on Oct.14. The event was contested over one-day and was a continuous two round 36-hole event held at the Country Club of Hudson. Freshman Brayden Larson was the highest finisher at the event coming in tied for No.2. shooting a 73-71-144(E).
Notables
- Senior Darin Hudak and graduate Evan Johnson both placed in the top 20 individually, with No.21 and No.24
- The Falcons recorded two eagles one by senior Luke Evans in the first round on hole No.3 and another by Hudak in the third round on hole No.11
- Hudak recorded two rounds under par in the second and third round with a 69(-2) and 70(-1)
- Johnson led all golfers in holes under par with 10 holes over three rounds under par
