Ashton Boyd (16:27.7), Bryce Weber (16:43.4) and Wyatt Ulbricht (16:58.3) followed, finishing 35th, 37th and 38th, respectively. Isaak Rubley took 41st at 17:19.1, while Jim Trzaska rounded out the squad in 43rd at 17:43.2.

"It was definitely good to have the team back in the race routine and competing again. This was a strong season opener that showed where we're at as a group," Associate Head Coach Rachel Rhynard said. "I'm excited about the handful of PRs we saw. Micah and Luke Woolard had solid races, and it was awesome to have Josh Risko back racing again."

Bowling Green will return to action Saturday, Sept. 12, when it hosts the Mel Brodt Collegiate Open.
