Women's Basketball Alumni Day Set for Feb. 15
Calling all Falcons! The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team's annual Alumni Day is set for Saturday, Feb. 15. Former Falcons are invited to come to the Stroh Center to watch the current edition of the program you helped build, as the Falcons take on Central Michigan in a 2:00 p.m. matchup.
The day's festivities will include numerous opportunities to re-connect with teammates and coaches from your past as well as connect with the student-athletes who currently represent this program. We will also be recognizing a legendary BGSU coach, as in addition to Alumni Day, it will also be Curt Miller Bobblehead Day!
Alums who are in town the day before the game (Friday, Feb. 14) are invited to the team's practice from 3-5 p.m. at the Stroh. Snacks will be provided, and following practice, alums can stick around for a Chalk Talk with assistant coach Maggie Lucas.
Then, on Saturday, the itinerary includes...
• 8:30 a.m. – the registration table/check-in area opens at the Stroh (southeast entrance, near the Falcon statue)
• 9:00 a.m. – the 2024-25 team's game-day shootaround begins
• 10:00 a.m. – following shootaround, join the team for their pregame meal in Schmidthorst Heritage Hall
• 2:00 p.m. – tipoff inside the Stroh Center, as the Falcons face Central Michigan – all attending alumni will be recognized in a special halftime ceremony
• 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. – postgame Alumni celebration event with the staff at Juniper Brewing Company (145 S. Main Street, Bowling Green)
T-shirts and a group photo will be provided to all registered attendees. Registration is required for all events. To register, please click the link below.
