Chmiel, Falcons Unveil 2024-25 Women's Basketball Schedule
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green State University women's basketball coach Fred Chmiel has announced his team's schedule for the 2024-25 season. The Falcons' schedule includes 13 regular-season games inside the friendly confines of the Stroh Center, and tickets are on sale now.
The non-conference schedule includes two home games vs. Big East Conference opponents and one home game against an Atlantic 10 Conference foe.
The regular-season opener will see the Falcons host Southern Miss on Monday, Nov. 4, at the Stroh as part of the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge.
BGSU will host St. Bonaventure on Nov. 16, while Xavier (Dec. 7) and Marquette (Dec. 18) also will come to the Stroh Center during the non-league portion of the schedule.
That non-conference slate features trips to West Virginia (Nov. 19) and Ohio State (Nov. 24) less than a week apart. BGSU will also travel to meet Detroit Mercy (Nov. 8), Cleveland State (Nov. 12) and Duquesne (Dec. 21). UDM is coached by Falcon Hall-of-Famer Kate Achter.
A Thanksgiving-week trip to Daytona Beach, Fla., will see the Orange and Brown play a pair of opponents to be determined (Nov. 28-30).
The MAC schedule begins with a game at Kent State on New Year's Day, with the conference home opener coming three days later vs. Eastern Michigan (Jan. 4).
The 18-game league slate features two games each against arch-rival Toledo, Central Michigan, EMU, KSU, Northern Illinois, Ohio and Western Michigan. BGSU will meet Akron, Ball State, Buffalo and Miami one time each.
In addition to that Jan. 4 EMU game, the Falcons' home conference slate includes contests vs. UB (Jan. 8), NIU (Jan. 18), WMU (Jan. 22) and UA (Jan. 29) during the month of January.
February sees the Falcons host CMU (Feb. 15), UT (Feb. 22) and Ohio (Feb. 26), with the final home game coming against KSU on March 5.
The league road slate includes trips to face KSU, Miami (Jan. 11), Ohio (Jan. 15), UT (Jan. 25), CMU (Feb. 1), BSU (Feb. 5), WMU (Feb. 19), NIU (March 1) and EMU (March 8).
BGSU will also play a road game on Saturday, Feb. 8, against a team to be determined, as part of the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge.
Falcon fans get their first chance to see the 2024-25 team in action on Wednesday, Oct. 30, when BG will host Wittenberg in an exhibition game at the Stroh.
TICKET INFORMATION
Season tickets are now on sale for BGSU men's and women's basketball. Fans can purchase season ticket for both Falcon basketball teams by utilizing the link below, visiting the BGSU Ticket Office in the Stroh Center or calling the ticket office at 419-372-0000.
Pricing for the women's basketball season is $250 for Anderson Club, $150 for Midcourt Reserved, $140 for Sideline Reserved and $95 for General Admission. To purchase Anderson Club seats, fans must be at the $250 Falcon Club level.
Families can save time and money with the Family Pack! For only $285 you will receive four (4) Baseline General Admission seats for women's basketball. You and your family can cheer on the Falcons for every home women's basketball game for $22 or less.
Fans can renew or purchase tickets online, by calling the Ticket Office at 419-372-0000 or in person by visiting the Stroh Center. The Stroh Center Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.
