Falcons to Host Wittenberg in Tuesday Morning Exhibition
Bowling Green State University women's basketball fans can get their first look at the 2024-25 Falcons on Tuesday morning (Oct. 29), when the Orange and Brown will face Wittenberg University in an exhibition. Tipoff is set for 11:00 a.m. at the Stroh Center. Tuesday's game will be the Falcons' School Day game.
The contest will be streamed on ESPN+.
Tickets for the game are $10, and all seats for season-ticket holders and the general public will be in section 103 or the Anderson Club (sections 115A, 115B and 115C). Season-ticket holders with seats in other sections throughout the arena will be asked to move to one of the aforementioned sections for Tuesday morning's game, to accommodate the large number of elementary-school students who will be in attendance. If you've never sat in the Anderson Club sections, Tuesday morning's game is a great opportunity to try it out!

Head coach Fred Chmiel and his staff have eight returnees and seven newcomers on the '24-25 roster. The returnees include Amy Velasco and Erika Porter, who recently were named to the Preseason All-Mid-American Conference Team. Velasco, a senior, earned first-team honors, and fifth-year collegian Porter was named to the second team.
Fifth-year Falcon Lexi Fleming, junior Emily Siesel, redshirt sophomore Jasmine Fearne and sophomores Taya Ellis, Paige Kohler and Keiryn McGuff round out the returnees.
The BGSU newcomers include a pair of junior-college transfers in Kristiana Kulackovska and Kendal Moxey, along with five freshmen -- Johnea Donahue, Lauren Gerken, Laila Harrison, Brook Simpson and Taylor Wallace.
Following the Wittenberg scrimmage, the Falcons will prepare for the regular-season opener against Southern Miss on Monday, Nov. 4. That game, part of the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge, will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Stroh.
