Women's Basketball Tipoff Dinner Set for Oct. 9
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team's Tipoff Dinner will be held on Thursday, Oct. 9, and the public is invited. The event will take place on the Champions Court inside Schmidthorst Pavilion at the Stroh Center, and tickets are on sale now.
Basketball legend Dawn Staley will be the guest speaker for the event. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m., with dinner beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Staley, head coach of the South Carolina women's basketball team, was a three-time Olympic gold medalist as a player and is a three-time national champion as a head coach.
Individual tickets for this prestigious event are $150, and tables of 8 are available for $1,000. Various sponsorship opportunities are also available.
