Women’s Golf Set to Host BGSU Women’s Intercollegiate
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Women's Golf Team is set to host the BGSU Women's Intercollegiate on Feb.11-12. The tournament will be hosted at Wigwam Golf Club, on the blue course a par 70, 6,373 yards, in Litchfield Park, Ariz. The shotgun start is scheduled for 8am MST.
Last Time Out
- The Falcons opened the 2025 spring season in a 7-2 victory in match-play with Central Michigan
- Freshman Clare Yeazell, McKenzie Miller, Macie Elzinga and Addison Kartusch all defeated their opponents from CMU
- Seven Falcons recorded wins in match play over the Chippewas: Makenna Jones, Clare Yeazell, Sammie Dolce, Macie Elzinga, Mallory Swartz, McKenzie Miller and Addison Kartusch.
Notables
- The Falcons will be hosting the BGSU Women's Intercollegiate in Arizona for the second straight season
- BGSU will be playing in their first tournament of the spring season and the first of two tournaments that they will be hosting
- The BGSU women's intercollegiate will be playing in the first of two tournaments in the state of Arizona in the month of February
- With hosting the BGSU Women's Intercollegiate, the Orange and Brown have now hosted at least one tournament in every season since the 1994-95 season

- Falcon Golf Finishes Sixth in Shortened West Texas ClassicABILENE, Texas – The Bowling Green Women's Golf Team finished play at Abilene Christian's West Texas Classic. The event was shortened to two rounds due to weather conditions. BGSU finished in sixth place and were the highest finisher from the MAC in the tournament.

- BGSU Women’s Golf Finish Play at WMU’s Rio Verde InvitationalRio Verde, Ariz. – The Bowling Green Falcons women's golf team finished play at Western Michigan's Rio Verde Invitational. BGSU finished 14th out of 21 teams and jumped six places in the final round.Sophomore Sammie Dolce jumped 25 spots in the final round shooting a team best low round of 71(-1). Senior Makenna Jones recorded an eagle on hole No. 11 in the third round.
- BGSU Women’s Golf Returns to Action at Western Michigan’s Rio Verde Collegiate InvitationalBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Women's Golf Team will travel to Rio Verde, Ariz., for Western Michigan's Rio Verde Collegiate Invitational on Feb. 21-23. The tournament will be hosted at the Rio Verde Country Club on the White Wing Golf course, a par 72, 6,001-yard course. The shotgun start is scheduled for 12 pm MST.
- BGSU Women’s Golf Finishes Fourth at BGSU Women’s IntercollegiateLITCHFIELD, Ariz. – The Bowling Green Falcons women's golf team finished play at the BGSU women's Intercollegiate. For BGSU this was the first tournament of the 2025 competitive season and the Falcons placed fourth out of 14 teams. Sophomore Sammie Dolce finished fourth as an individual at the tournament with a career low round of 69 (-2) in the third round. Freshman Macie Elzinga finished in 10th place for the highest finish of her BGSU career.
