Falcon Women’s Golf to Travel to the Lone Star State for West Texas Classic
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Women's Golf Team will travel to the Lone Star State for Abilene Christian's West Texas Classic on March 3-4. The tournament will be hosted at Abilene Country Club in Abilene, Texas. The shotgun start is scheduled for 8am CT.

- Senior Makenna Jones finished tied for fifth with 22 bogeys
- BGSU averaged 3.31 strokes on par 3 holes for a tie for fifth best at Western Michigan's Rio Verde Invitational
- The Orange and Brown shot a +5 in the final round, which was tied for the third best round three among all teams
- Ava O'Sullivan and Clare Yeazell both led BGSU with eight holes under par
Notables
- Head Coach Erin Fahey will be returning to her home state for a tournament for the second time in her head coaching tenure at BGSU
- The Falcons will be making a trip to Texas for the first time since March 4-5, 2024, when they finished third at the UTRGV Vaqueros Invitational
- This will mark the Orange and Brown's third consecutive tournament outside of the Eastern Time Zone
- BGSU will be one of three MAC school competing in the event with the other two being Central Michigan and Toledo

- Falcon Golf Finishes Sixth in Shortened West Texas ClassicABILENE, Texas – The Bowling Green Women's Golf Team finished play at Abilene Christian's West Texas Classic. The event was shortened to two rounds due to weather conditions. BGSU finished in sixth place and were the highest finisher from the MAC in the tournament.
- BGSU Women’s Golf Finish Play at WMU’s Rio Verde InvitationalRio Verde, Ariz. – The Bowling Green Falcons women's golf team finished play at Western Michigan's Rio Verde Invitational. BGSU finished 14th out of 21 teams and jumped six places in the final round.Sophomore Sammie Dolce jumped 25 spots in the final round shooting a team best low round of 71(-1). Senior Makenna Jones recorded an eagle on hole No. 11 in the third round.

The tournament will be hosted at the Rio Verde Country Club on the White Wing Golf course, a par 72, 6,001-yard course. The shotgun start is scheduled for 12 pm MST.
- BGSU Women’s Golf Finishes Fourth at BGSU Women’s IntercollegiateLITCHFIELD, Ariz. – The Bowling Green Falcons women's golf team finished play at the BGSU women's Intercollegiate. For BGSU this was the first tournament of the 2025 competitive season and the Falcons placed fourth out of 14 teams. Sophomore Sammie Dolce finished fourth as an individual at the tournament with a career low round of 69 (-2) in the third round. Freshman Macie Elzinga finished in 10th place for the highest finish of her BGSU career.
