BGSU Women’s Golf Set for Final Fall Tournament at Loyola Parkinson Family Invitational
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The BGSU women's golf team will play in their final tournament of the fall competitive season on Monday Oct. 7 at Loyola Chicago's Loyola Parkinson Family Invitational. The two-day event will be played at the Merit Club, a par-72 6,041-yard course, in Libertyville, Ill. The first 36 holes will be played on Monday and the final 18 holes are set to be played on Tuesday. Both days are scheduled for an 8:30am CT shotgun start.
Last Time Out
- Bowling Green attended the Diane Thomason Invite, for their first tournament in program history hosted by Iowa
- Freshman Clare Yeazell shot four holes under par in the first round to finish 75(+3)
- Sophomore Sammie Dolce and junior Ava O'Sullivan appeared in their 15th tournaments as Falcons
Notables
- BGSU will be competing in the Loyola Parkinson Family Invitational for the second year in a row, after finishing tied for third place a year ago
- Junior Olivia Steen will be in the lineup in the fifth spot, for the first time this season
- Freshman McKenzie Miller will be competing in her second tournament as a Falcon, as an individual
- Both Bowling Green and Ball State will be representing the Mid-American Conference at the Invitational
