BGSU Women’s Golf Heads to Powercat Invitational for First Time In Program History
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio- The Bowling Green women's golf team continues the fall season on Monday at Kansas State's Powercat Invitational. The tournament will be played at Colbert Hills Golf Course, a par-72, 6,446 yard course, in Manhattan, Kan.
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio- The Bowling Green women's golf team continues the fall season on Monday at Kansas State's Powercat Invitational. The tournament will be played at Colbert Hills Golf Course, a par-72, 6,439 yard course, in Manhattan, Kan.
The first 36 holes will be played on Monday and the final 18 holes are set to be played on Tuesday. Both days are scheduled for an 8 a.m. CT shotgun start.
Last Time Out
- At the A-Ga-Ming Invitational, the Falcons placed second out of 14 teams and were the highest finisher from the MAC
- Sophomore Sammie Dolce placed in seventh place with a 77-76-75-228 (+12)
- Six falcons finished in the top 20, individually
Notables
- BGSU will be one of two MAC schools in action on Monday and Tuesday with Akron being the other
- The Falcons will be playing in the Powercat Invitational and a tournament hosted by K-State for the first time in program history
- Freshman Macie Elzinga and Clare Yeazell will be back in the lineup after their first appearances in the Orange and Brown last time out
