BGSU Women’s Golf Signs Three on National Signing Day
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green State University head women's golf coach, Erin Fahey, has announced Shelby Hardwick, Audrey McIntyre and Copelin O'Krangley have signed with the Falcons for the 2025-26 academic year.
"We are so excited to announce the addition of Shelby, Audrey and Copelin to our Falcon family! These young women are all tournament tested, hard workers, and passionate about the game of golf, said Fahey. "They will all have an immediate impact on the program on and off the golf course. I am thrilled that they will be joining us next Fall. This class is made up of three student-athletes who love BGSU, want to be a part of something bigger than themselves, and are dedicated to improving their games."
Shelby Hardwick – Toronto, Ont./Northview Heights Secondary School
Shelby Hardwick will join the Falcons from up north in Toronto, Ont. Hardwick is a two-time Ontario Federation of School Athletic Association (OFSAA) runner up. Additionally, she was named the 2023 Northview Heights Secondary School Golf MVP. The right-handed Canadian has four top five finishes in her high school career: 2024 AJGA UHY Detroit Junior (5th, 71-75-78), 2023 Ontario Junior Tour Championship (4th, 72-76-70), 2023 CJGA Mizuno National Junior Championship (1st, 72-71-76-77), 2023 AJGA Marathon Petroleum Preview (4th, 76-78). Hardwick will join Addison Kartusch as the second Canuck joining the team in as many seasons.

Audrey McIntyre – Austin, Texas/Lake Travis High School
Audrey McIntyre will be joining BGSU from Lake Travis High School. The Lonestar state native placed first in the 2023 Texas State High School 6A District Championships and second in 2022 and 2024. McIntyre was named a national finalist for the Drive, Chip and Putt in 2023 and tied for second place at the 2024 West Coast Invite with a 71-71-142(-2). Additionally, she was a top 10 finisher at the Swing for the Cure with a score of 70-69-74. Off the course, McIntyre is an AP Capstone and AP Scholar awardee and will join coach Fahey as the second Austin, Texas native for BGSU women's golf.
Why BGSU?
"I wanted a big change from living in Austin my whole life. My whole family are also big Cleveland Browns fans, even though no one's from Cleveland! We love the North/Midwest."
Copelin O'Krangley – Caledonia, Mich./Caledonia High School
Copelin O'Krangley will join the Falcons from Caledonia High School. The Great Lakes State native is a four-time all OK Green Conference selection and a three-time first team all-state selection. During the 2024 season, her high school team finished as conference champions and was the runner up at the Michigan High School state championships. O'Krangley currently owns an individual record low nine hole score of 34 and an individual record low 18 hole score of 69(-4). The Big Rapids, Mich., will join Macie Elzinga as the second Michigan native on the roster.

The shot gun start is scheduled for 9 am with two continuous rounds on Monday and round three on Tuesday is scheduled for 10 am.

- BGSU Women’s Golf Finishes Fourth at Loyola Parkinson Family Invitational, as Dolce Finishes Third IndividuallyLIBERTYVILLE, Ill. – The Bowling Green women's golf team finished fourth out of 13 teams at the Loyola Parkinson Family Invitational hosted by Loyola-Chicago. The two-day event was contested at the Merit Club, a par-72 6,041-yard course. Sophomore Sammie Dolce led all BGSU golfers and finished tied for third. Freshman Macie Elzinga finished No.18 to finish her first fall season of competition at BGSU.
